Dr. Augustine Kim

Orthodontist

Dr. Augustine Kim grew up in Irvine, California. In 1998, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. After UCLA, he attended the University of Southern California School of Dentistry and graduated in 2008 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. In 2010, he received his Certificate in Orthodontics from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Kim takes great pride in his ability to transform a patient’s smile. His attention to detail as well as his constant pursuit of new technology and clinical advancements, have resulted in optimal patient care. In his free time, Dr. Kim enjoys playing music, specifically the guitar and piano. He also likes to spend time outdoors, traveling, snowboarding, and playing golf.

Orthodontist

Dr. Yeonju Elizabeth Son, DMD, is an orthodontist, a dental specialist with three additional years of highly selective training in 'orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics' from NYU College of Dentistry. As an Orthodontist, she diagnoses, prevents and corrects malpositioned teeth and jaws.

She completed her bachelor’s degree at University of Pennsylvania, graduating Cum Laude. Following Bachelors, Dr. Son went on to pursue the Doctorate of Dental Medicine at University of Pennsylvania. She then completed orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics residency at New York University. Dr. Son enjoys working with patients, and creating beautiful and healthy smile. Dr. Son’s treatment philosophy is to treat each patient with individualized care and to provide the best care for patients.

She is an active member American Board of Orthodontics, Northeastern Society of Orthodontics, and American Dental Association.

Dr. Patel is an orthodontist. He was awarded Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He completed his post-graduate residency training in Orthodontics specialty at Roseman University of Health Sciences. He has also received a Master’s in business Administration. Dr. Patel is an active member of American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), American Dental Association (ADA), New Jersey Dental Association (NJDA) to name a few. Dr. Patel is committed to staying current on the latest advancements in orthodontics in order to provide the best possible care and treatment for his patients. Dr. Patel looks forward to helping his patients achieving the smiles that will bring them confidence and happiness for a lifetime.

Dr. Gayatri Horowitz graduated from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry degree and earned the Edward Hickling Bradford Fellowship for her dental research and the Shklar Award for public service. Dr. Horowitz remained at Harvard to complete her Doctorate of Medical Science degree and specialty training in Orthodontics. She has also completed the requirements of board certification and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. In addition, she is a member of the Harvard Society for the Advancement of Orthodontics, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists.

Dr. Horowitz enjoys cooking, baking and traveling to new places with her family.

Favorites: I love spending time trying out different restaurants. My favorite teams are Golden State Warriors and San Francisco Giants. Roger Federer is my all-time favorite athlete. My favorite tv shows are The Office, Parks and Recreation, and Breaking Bads.
